Ongoing through April 26, 2015, at Akron Art Museum, One South High. Mixed media assemblages are distinctive among the work of his colleagues in Cleveland and far beyond. As other artists engage with new media, Pekoc uses humble processes and materials, such as gelatin silver photography, Xerox prints, shellac, sandpaper and punches, in novel ways to create evocative images.
